Konu: Adım Harriet Manners ve ben bir geek’im. Ben bunun oldukça iyi bir sıfat olduğunu düşünsem de, okul çantamın üstüne kocaman harflerle ‘Geek’ yazan arkadaşlarım aynı fikirde değil gibi. Buna karşılık açlık, özellikle bu ormanın etrafının dünya savaşıyla kasılıp kavrulduğu o zamanlarda açlık hiç eksilmeyen bir şeymiş.
