Plot: The
Iliad, attributed to Homer, takes place during the final weeks of the Trojan
War and centers on the wrath of Achilles. After a bitter quarrel with the Greek
leader Agamemnon, Achilles withdraws from battle, allowing the Trojans to gain
the upper hand. The Trojan prince Hector emerges as a noble defender of his
